Jolly Gator Fish Camp, nestled in Geneva, Florida, has quickly become a beloved spot for seafood enthusiasts. This charming, small-town restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with stunning waterfront views and the unique experience of airboat launching nearby. Customers rave about their dining experiences, particularly highlighting the Cajun-fried gator tail as a must-try dish. Mark Stringer captures this sentiment perfectly, calling it the best gator tail around, and emphasizes the restaurant's inviting vibe as an ideal setting for enjoying cold beers and fresh seafood.

The swamp cabbage comes highly recommended by Tom Reed, who praises the staff for their exceptional service, even accommodating guests at closing time. Ken Haun's transformative experience demonstrates that this hidden gem deserves a visit—having driven past so many times, he now declares it a can't-miss culinary stop with possibly the best seafood in Central Florida.

Hands down the best gator tail around! Cajun fried is my personal favorite. Every time I am within 30 minutes of this place, you can bet that I'm making the drive. The atmosphere is incredible, waterfront views, airboat launching, boat ramp, indoor/ outdoor seating... perfect spot for beers and gator! Similar to camp Holly, just way better food!!!!

Ive driven by this place atleast a hundred times over the years. Never really considered going in there. Partly because of the location. Seems like there’s no way a spot called Jolly Gator Fish Camp on the side of the highway in the middle of a swamp could possibly have something worth stopping for. Boy, I was so wrong. And I regret not coming in here sooner. The service was exceptional, to say the least. And the food was not only better than I had expected, but possibly the best seafood I’ve had in central FL. We will definitely be coming here more often. Don’t make the same mistake I made, stop in and grab some grub. You won’t regret it.

The swamp cabbage was the best! The staff accommodated us even though we walked in at closing time. I highly recommend Jolly Gator!

We were looking for a gator bite, but we discovered more here. we got grilled gator bite for appetizers. we also ordered a gator sampler basket, cod basket and jumbo red shrimp. All the food was great. For my personal opinion, grilled gator is more tasty than fried. my wife said the jumbo red shrimp was a little bit salty. All baskets were served with fries, coleslaw and corn fritter. we never had corn fritter before. we all loved it, very tasty. The service was great as well. We definitely will go back again. Highly recommend.
